The Spantik Base Camp Trek, located in Pakistan’s Karakoram mountain range, is one of the best trekking adventures in the region. Spantik Peak, standing at 7,027 meters, was once rarely visited. However, due to its relatively easy access and low technical difficulty, it has now become a popular destination for adventure lovers. The trail to Spantik Base Camp is moderate in difficulty. It starts out gently and becomes steeper as you move higher. You’ll walk through green meadows and across glaciers, surrounded by snow-covered mountains and icy peaks. Your journey begins in Skardu. From there, you'll ride in 4x4 jeeps to Arando, a small town in the scenic Shigar Valley.
